More than 100 businesses have joined the new Milton Keynes Chamber after it was launched in the district over three months ago.
The Chamber has been rapidly growing its membership since it commenced trading in Milton Keynes on July 8, and now includes major retailers, education establishments, small and medium-sized firms as well as sole traders across the area.
The Chamber recently invested in new staff – a Business Development Executive and Membership Account Co-ordinator – at its dedicated offices in 500 Avebury Boulevard. It is currently working on a calendar of events for businesses to meet and connect with each other.
Paul Griffiths, Chief Executive of Milton Keynes Chamber, said: “There is clearly a demand for a Chamber that meets the diverse needs of Milton Keynes businesses and that is reflected in our growing membership.
“As a member, businesses can benefit from networking opportunities, access training to improve existing and develop new skills, receive expertise on exporting products abroad and much more to help them succeed and grow.
“We want to continue to develop a strong and respected Chamber business community which will further enhance Milton Keynes’ offering of products and services.”
