MacIntyre Charity Christmas Fair goes Virtual!  Bookings now open for traders, small businesses

Due to Covid-19, the much loved MacIntyre Christmas Fair was looking in doubt but MacIntyre is delighted to confirm it is happening, this year virtually!

Making use of technology, this year’s exciting alternative is a virtual Christmas Fair running from 1-8 December to tie in with the Big Give Christmas Challenge, the UK’s biggest online match funding campaign.

Offering people the opportunity to browse and shop safely from home, each individual trader will have their own ‘stall’ featuring branding and logo and visitors will be able to click through to shop and find out more.

With over 6000 followers on Facebook, almost 3000 followers on Twitter, and over 1000 followers on Instagram, stalls will be promoted using these channels plus the event is on for 1 week instead of the usual 1 day.

Lorraine Devereux, fundraiser said: This year’s alternative to our physical Christmas Fair is exciting and gives us the opportunity to support small businesses who are likely to have had events cancelled. We are looking for traders specialising in gifts, textiles, jewellery, artists, food, drink, and anything a little unique that people may like to purchase as presents that can be ordered online. With the event running for a week instead of just 1 day plus offering a far greater reach, it offers a fantastic opportunity for small businesses whilst also supporting our fundraising at MacIntyre.”
