Northamptonshire Health Charity is the registered charity for three local NHS Trusts – Northampton General and Kettering General Hospitals and Northamptonshire Healthcare Foundation Trust. With a population of over 700,000 – from the very beginning of a new life to end of life, our NHS touches everyone, around the clock, ready to treat and care for us and as their registered charity we are proud to support them by funding equipment, projects and initiatives to enhance patient care and experience as well as support staff wellbeing above and beyond that which the NHS provides. Our mission is to make things better for patients, their families and staff in all wards, departments and across services provided to all in the local community.
The charity team works closely with NHS staff, who are best placed to identify what can enhance the care they provide. Typically, they will develop a project, the funding for which if approved is granted back to the respective NHS Trust. From cardiac to cancer, emergency and critical care, dementia to diabetes, maternity to paediatrics and mental health – we make a difference to the lives of children, young people and adults across the whole county.
