January 2023 has seen the much-anticipated reopening of the MK SNAP Cafe, which sits in the atrium at the heart of the charity’s purpose-built centre in Walnut Tree, Milton Keynes.

The learners have been baking, developing their customer service skills and getting back into the swing of things, as MK SNAP have welcomed members of the public back into the cafe for the first time in over three years.

Due to popular demand, the cafe which serves cakes, treats, barista hot drinks, specialist teas and juices to the public in our regular opening hours (every Tuesday and Thursday 9.30-12 noon) is now available for pre-booked private use for organisations that may be keen to work from a fresh, welcoming and well-lit space, which also happens to have great wi-fi, free parking on the doorstep and a positively buzzing atmosphere.

CEO Angela Novell states that “MK SNAP are really proud and excited to have the cafe open again and we are so looking forward to welcoming colleagues and partners from the business world back into our inspiring space”.

MK SNAP, established in 1991, provides a leading programme of education, life skills, work preparation and opportunities for work to adults aged 18+ with learning disabilities, giving them the skills to realise their potential.
