Do you dare to take on both of the hottest and coldest challenges this January?

On the 28th January 2022 and the 29th January 2022, we’re holding two extreme challenges that you can take part in to raise funds for Transitions UK, our charity that supports vulnerable young people into better lives and futures that they all deserve.

The first challenge on the 28th January will be the Fire Walk at Emerson Sports Valley Pavilion in Milton Keynes from 5:45pm until 9:30pm. This event will challenge you both physically and mentally as you will have many barriers of fear to overcome within yourself before you complete the final walk over burning hot coals.

The next day on 29th January, you can get involved in the Polar Plunge event which is held at Woburn Lido from 1:30pm until 3pm. This chilly challenge will take the bravest individuals and have them take the leap into freezing cold water in this January weather. For this epic challenge, you will need to be 16+ to participate and remember to bring a flask and warm clothes for afterwards!

Both events have the small entry fee of £5 and we’re encouraging participants to raise the target amount of £150 or more through a total giving page aimed to Transitions UK!

You can choose one of these events or both! If you do decide to take on both challenges and you raise the targeted amount, then we will happily reward you with a limited-edition fundraisers T-shirt and certificate signed by our CEO!

All funds raised at these events will go towards helping Transitions UK support vulnerable young people into creating better lives and futures for themselves. We have 4 projects which support vulnerable young people which are; Achieve for those with learning disabilities, Attain for those who are care leavers, Aspire for those who are at risk of offending and Affirm for those with mental health and emotional needs.

The funds will go to helping each of these projects continue their growth and will help fund the supported mentoring sessions that we provide.

Get involved in both of these challenges, take the exciting risks and change young lives!
