TEAM Energy earns Good Business Charter accreditation for ethical business practices
Leading UK energy and sustainability consultancy, TEAM Energy, has been officially accredited by the Good Business Charter, recognising its dedication to ethical, social, and environmental standards.
The Good Business Charter evaluates organisations across ten key areas, including employee wellbeing, fair pay, ethical sourcing, financial integrity, customer care, and environmental impact. Accreditation is granted to companies that can clearly demonstrate alignment with these principles.
TEAM is the only end-to-end energy and sustainability consultancy to hold the Good Business Charter accreditation.
Commenting on the achievement, TEAM’s CEO, Simon Miles, said:
We are thrilled to receive the Good Business Charter accreditation, which reflects our commitment to ethical practices as an employee-owned business. We believe that prioritising employee wellbeing, environmental responsibility, and ethical business not only benefits our company but also our clients and the wider community.
This significant milestone is particularly special as we celebrate our 40th anniversary this year, marking four decades of innovation and responsibility in the energy sector.
This recognition follows a strong start to 2025 for TEAM, which has included several environmental achievements such as securing Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) approval for its 2030 net zero goal and joining the UN Global Compact to support global sustainable development ambitions. The Good Business Charter accreditation further underscores TEAM’s commitment to its sustainability journey.
