We never stop thinking about soup at YMCA Milton Keynes and want to make this years SoupFest even bigger and better. Thanks to the support of two souper-hero companies who have co-sponsored the recipe book we are confident that we will have soup-er event this year.
‘For the second year in a row, we are proud to sponsor this brilliant soup book to support the YMCA Milton Keynes. As well as raising awareness of this amazing charity, soup can be a healthy and easy meal to cook when you’re on a budget and promotes reduction in food waste as you use up ingredients sat in your fridge.
Cranswick began working with the YMCA in 2022 and through our passion for food, and our mission to be a catalyst to reduce homelessness in Milton Keynes, they have become a key partner in our work. Thanks to the YMCA, young people facing homelessness in our city have a safe place to go, and the specialist support they need to thrive.’ Rachel Tudhope, HR Manager.
“We’re so excited to be this year’s co-sponsors of SoupFest and be able to support the YMCA Milton Keynes by getting involved with this brilliant fundraising campaign. YMCA has been playing an important role in our community here in MK, providing a safe home and support services to help young people heal and grow.
SoupFest is a perfect excuse to gather together and enjoy some delicious soup, whilst supporting an important cause and making a difference. We held a Soup-off and colleagues at Brioche chose their favourite recipes! We’re sure this year’s SoupFest Recipe Book has ideas for every taste, so make sure you grab one. We’re looking forward to seeing all the community in MK gathering to support YMCA MK and enjoy some delicious soup.” Angela Oliveira, Marketing Executive.
Keep your eye on our socials for details about where and when you can get your hands on our recipe book. Huge thanks to Cranswick Foods and Brioche Pasquier for being so soup-portive of young people living at YMCA MK. We are soup-remely grateful for your ladle-fuls of soup-ort.
