The City Discovery Centre in Milton Keynes has appointed  Kevin Edwards, Commercial Property Partner at Geoffrey Leaver Solicitors to its Board of Trustees, strengthening the charity’s commitment to preserving and promoting one of Milton Keynes’ most important heritage sites.

Kevin brings extensive experience in the commercial property sector and a strong connection to the local business community. As a trustee, he will support the charity’s strategic objectives, helping to ensure that the Discovery Centre (based in Bradwell Abbey) continues to educate, engage and inspire visitors while safeguarding its historic assets for future generations.

Milton Keynes City Discovery Centre works in collaboration with Milton Keynes Council to manage and maintain the Bradwell Abbey site for the benefit of the Milton Keynes community.  They also offer educational programmes to support all levels of learning in urban studies and heritage studies – as well as the historical and natural heritage of Milton Keynes.  Bradwell Abbey, a Scheduled Monument with a rich history dating back to the 12th century, plays a vital role in celebrating the area’s heritage and providing educational opportunities for the local community.
