We’re delighted to announce our continued partnership with Volkswagen Group UK Ltd (VWG) through the establishment of the VWG Endowment Fund.
As many will know, the Volkswagen Group has long been a supporter of the MKCF, having supplied a car for MK Community Foundation’s (MKCF) annual Car Draw for over 32 years. This, alongside continued funding for many voluntary groups and charities in the city has been vital in supporting some of the most vulnerable in Milton Keynes.
“As a globally recognised brand, based in Milton Keynes, we are honoured to be supporting Volkswagen Group in its charity work. The creation of the new VWG Endowment Fund will not only provide long-term sustainability for VWG’s giving ambitions but also allows for a larger proportion of the community to benefit from their support,”
Ian Revell, CEO, MK Community FoundationThe establishment of the VWG Endowment Fund coincides with the Group’s 70th birthday celebrations and MK Community Foundation’s Match Fund campaign. This saw VWG’s £35,000 generous donation matched by MKCF to create a £70,000 fund.
“We are delighted to continue our relationship with the MKCF by supporting investment in this new fund. We are confident it will be used wisely to give grants to local charities which now, more than ever, need our help. We are proud to give back to the community local to our HQ, as well as through our other charitable donations, to other organisations across the UK.”

Established over 35 years ago, MK Community Foundation is a leading grant-making charity sending funding where it’s needed most in Milton Keynes. Over those years it has awarded over £18m in rent subsidies and £15m in grant programmes.
