Accountants Hillier Hopkins kicks off charity football tournament for Herts children’s hospice

First came the World Cup, then the Euros and now the Hillier Hopkins charity football tournament, raising money for Hertfordshire children’s hospice The Pepper Foundation.

Accountants Hillier Hopkins has today announced its charity football tournament bringing together 11 of the finest five-a-side football teams from businesses across Hertfordshire.

The football tournament kicks off on Thursday 7 July at the Lucozade Power League and has already raised over £2,000 for the children’s hospice.

The Pepper Foundation helps to raise money to fund the children’s hospice at home nursing team. The nursing least team provides specialist full-time care for children with terminal and life-threatening illnesses free of charge in the child’s home. They also provide emotional support and advice to family members.

Five-a-side teams have entered from the following business who will all be competing for footballing glory and the coveted Hillier Hopkins charity football tournament trophy:

Commenting on the tournament, Alex Bottom, Managing Principal in the Audit practice and team captain from Hillier Hopkins said: “We have gathered the finest footballing talent from businesses across the county for Hillier Hopkins’ charity football tournament. And whilst it will be tremendous fun and hugely competitive, we are all working for a common goal – to raise much-needed funds for the Pepper Foundation.
