TEAM Energy believes in the power of people working together to make change. Their people are the driving force behind the innovations and solutions they deliver to help their customers overcome their energy and sustainability challenges.
This is the first in a series of interviews in which the business gets to know some of the people who contribute to the success of their employee-owned business.
In this interview you will be getting to know Pauline Scoins from the Marketing team.
How long have you been in your current job and what is your role?
I am the Marketing and PR Executive at TEAM and I have worked here for 6 years. Whilst I have worked in many different sectors, working in energy was new to me, so when I joined, I had a lot to learn. My experience in marketing and communications brought me to this role. Before TEAM I worked for Cranfield University’s marketing departments. I’ve also worked in the charity sector and in television production.
What is it about your job do you enjoy the most?
A common theme throughout my work is the creation of content and communicating with people. In my role at TEAM, I love the variety and learning. Over the 6 years I have been here, there has been lots of changes that affect industry and the businesses we support. Keeping up with those is exciting and keeps our team on its toes. It is really rewarding when I write content that helps to communicate complicated information and help customers understand more about how they can contribute to net zero.
