The programme has been established to support the delivery of events and activities that increase footfall, boost local spending, and enhance the vibrancy of Milton Keynes’ traditional high streets. We recognise the important role that local events play in attracting visitors, supporting independent businesses, strengthening community identity, and creating thriving town centres.

Community groups, charities, Community Interest Companies (CICs), business associations, and Town Councils can apply for grants of up to £5,000 to deliver events in:
• Bletchley (Queensway)
• Newport Pagnell
• Stony Stratford
• Olney
• Woburn Sands
• Wolverton

We are seeking innovative and engaging proposals that celebrate the unique character of each high street and encourage residents and visitors to spend more time in these centres. This could include food festivals, markets, cultural and heritage events, seasonal celebrations, family activities, food and drink events, or other initiatives that bring communities together while supporting local businesses.
