Inspiring the region’s future employees – Free opportunity in Milton Keynes for students interested in accountancy and finance careers
First Intuition, a leading accountancy training provider, is delighted to announce the return of its Accountancy Academies at its centres including Milton Keynes. Aimed at 15 – 19-year-olds interested in knowing more about a career in accountancy and finance, the free academies offer the opportunity to learn what it is like to work in an accountancy role and what is needed to get a job in the sector. Attendees will also get the chance to meet local employers in an Employer Q&A Forum.
Every year, First Intuition centres extend a warm invitation to local students to participate in their free Accountancy Academies. On Tuesday 7th July from 9:30am – 4:00pm, First Intuition’s Milton Keynes Centre in Acorn House on Midsummer Boulevard will open its doors to local young people for the Accountancy Academy.
The academies serve as a valuable platform for aspiring individuals to gain a deeper understanding of the accountancy sector and the diverse job roles it offers, to help them identify if it is the right career path for them. Attendees will also learn about the different routes they can take to get into a career in accounting and meet local employers.
“Our Accountancy Academies are ideal for students who are interested in pursuing a career in finance and accounting or just want to learn about opportunities in the industry,” said Amy Forrest, Managing Director, First Intuition, East Anglia.
“The day will provide valuable insights and guidance and give young people the chance to hear about career options direct from local employers. We are looking forward to welcoming students and inspiring the region’s future accountancy employees.”
The Accountancy Academies are facilitated by First Intuition’s experienced tutors, each with expertise and experience working in accountancy roles. The academies have helped hundreds of students learn more about the types of roles in the industry and determine whether a career in accountancy aligns with their skills and aspirations.

The upcoming Accountancy Academies will be hosted both in person at First Intuition centres and online, to cater for the diverse needs and preferences of students and ensure everyone has access to the sessions.
