TrackZero closes oversubscribed £500,000 angel investment round to accelerate AI-driven carbon data and supply chain reporting
TrackZero, the collaborative carbon management platform, has closed an oversubscribed £500,000 investment round from local angel investors, signalling the next phase of growth for the Milton Keynes climate technology company.
Headquartered in Milton Keynes at the centre of the Oxford–Cambridge Growth Corridor, TrackZero has grown organically over the past two years, onboarding 160+ organisations, securing a Fortune 500 enterprise customer, and building a growing partner distribution network.
The investment will accelerate the next phase of product development, expanding TrackZero’s AI capabilities to automate how organisations collect, validate and report carbon emissions data across their supply chains.
As sustainability reporting requirements increase across the UK and internationally, businesses are facing a growing challenge: obtaining accurate emissions data from suppliers and across complex value chains. TrackZero addresses this challenge through a platform that enables organisations to measure emissions across Scope 1, Scope 2 and Scope 3, engage suppliers for primary emissions data, and generate reporting aligned with recognised frameworks such as the GHG Protocol.
“This investment allows us to accelerate what we’ve been building over the past two years,” said Alan Wilson, CEO of TrackZero.
“Businesses need a practical way to measure emissions across their operations and supply chains without creating huge administrative overhead. Our focus is on making carbon accounting simple, accurate and actionable.
“What we’re seeing now is carbon data moving beyond compliance, into a competitive advantage. Being able to provide credible emissions data is increasingly shaping procurement decisions, tender outcomes and supply chain relationships.”
The investment also highlights the growing role of Milton Keynes and the Oxford–Cambridge Growth Corridor in the UK’s climate technology ecosystem.
“Milton Keynes and the Oxford–Cambridge Growth Corridor are home to serious technology companies building real things; TrackZero being one of them. We want to show that climate technology can scale from here – and this investment is part of making that happen.”
As sustainability requirements tighten across UK supply chains, TrackZero believes the region has the potential to play a significant role in developing practical climate technology solutions that help businesses transition towards net zero.
TrackZero credits its investors, partners, customers and suppliers for backing the platform from the start. The next phase is about proving that trust right – at scale
