The British Chambers of Commerce (BCC) have announced that the second International Trade Conference will take place on Thursday 17 October 2013 at Central Hall, Westminster.
Bringing together some of the UK’s high growth exporters, business leaders and leading policy makers, the Conference will provide insight on the challenges and opportunities of trading internationally.
Confirmed speakers so far include:
- Business Secretary Vince Cable
- Lord Bilimoria, Founder of Cobra Beer, and
- easyJet Chief Executive Carolyn McCall.
Commenting, John Longworth, Director General at the BCC said: “Accredited Chambers of Commerce across the country sit at the heart of international trade. Every day we show firms how to take that first step towards exporting, and help new and existing exporters expand into new markets, via trade missions and export seminars. UK businesses and the Chamber Network are doing everything they can to drive an export-led recovery, and this conference will highlight the vast opportunities on offer for companies looking to trade overseas.”
